Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brian Österberg started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Die Flussee Haie's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Arvidsson came free, but Ola Alebom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilhelm Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Göran Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Die Flussee Haie's goalkeeper Ola Alebom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tage Lindqvist. After a defensive mix-up in Ödåkra IFK's zone, Melker Jelm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Jonsson came out of the goal and Melker Jelm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brian Österberg hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Ödåkra IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Jelm came free, but Göran Jonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göran Jonsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Haglund in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Wiktor Fernström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ödåkra IFK's Alfred Pettersson got a free kick in the 27th minute. Wiktor Fernström struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Göran Jonsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Die Flussee Haie. If Wiktor Fernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jarl Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45thth minute of the game Wiktor Fernström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ödåkra IFK's Göran Jonsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiktor Fernström was the one to do the kick off. Tage Lindqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute, Brian Österberg made a precise shot to the right of Ola Alebom. Die Flussee Haie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Enström in the 59th minute of play forced Die Flussee Haie's goalkeeper Ola Alebom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ola Alebom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Österberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melker Jelm in the 69th minute of play forced Ödåkra IFK's goalkeeper Göran Jonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ola Alebom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Österberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Enström in the 72nd minute of play forced Die Flussee Haie's goalkeeper Ola Alebom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiktor Fernström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Die Flussee Haie's Wiktor Fernström got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jarl Lind came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Die Flussee Haie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarl Lind couldn't finish the play. Ola Alebom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Österberg in the 83rd minute of the match. Ola Alebom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stellan Enström went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Jens-Ove Löfdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Melker Jelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 96 minutes into the match, Kjell-Arne Arvidsson notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Die Flussee Haie's Ola Alebom. Ola Alebom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Die Flussee Haie's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Ödåkra IFK had won, even though Die Flussee Haie had held more of the ball.
