Spectators: 7121 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 75) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hjalmar Månsson started the match with the kick off. Georg Bure hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Lillpite were furious when Sten Blom was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 4 minutes into the game, one of Lillpite:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thomas Stor had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Mark Kämpe's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Thomas Stor came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Nordic Legion's Östen Lövkvist. But to his dismay, Östen Lövkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute, Östen Lövkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nordic Legion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 16th minute, Lennart Jansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Stor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Månsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Hjalmar Månsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Stor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nordic Legion's Östen Lövkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Östen Lövkvist struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Thomas Stor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nordic Legion. Thomas Stor came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nordic Legion's Hjalmar Månsson. But to his dismay, Hjalmar Månsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 28th minute Carl Rosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Valler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Valler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Rosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Nordic Legion's Wilhelm Valler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Rosen in the 47th minute of play. When Georg Bure fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nordic Legion's protests and gave Georg Bure a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Nordic Legion got a freekick which was hit by Georg Bure.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carl Rosen made a kick off. The throw-in from Jörgen Bolander in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lillpite's Frank Berg. After a defensive mix-up in Nordic Legion's zone, Carl Rosen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Valler came out of the goal and Carl Rosen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Nordic Legion's Östen Lövkvist got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Östen Lövkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thomas Stor. The goal made the score 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Östen Lövkvist got free with Thomas Stor in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mark Kämpe, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Lillpite's goal looked a bit too open when Hjalmar Månsson came free, but Thomas Stor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustav Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Carl Rosen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute.
