After a rather tough play, AS Koma's Joakim Svensson got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Konrad Sävström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AS Koma's Hannes Högström didn't even have to move. Hannes Högström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dag Blomqvist in the 18th minute of the match. Joakim Svensson charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joakim Svensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, AS Koma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Svensson to maneuver through the defense. Svante Termander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell-Arne Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Lange in the 40th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Dag Blomqvist made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Vilhelm Asmundsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Svante Termander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Dag Blomqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Envikens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dag Blomqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tim Bäcklin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hannes Högström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AS Koma eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
