Hannes Högström had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Sigvard Ahlin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Rickard Törnblom came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Holmens FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rickard Törnblom couldn't finish the play. A collision led to AS Koma getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Vilhelm Asmundsson hit a great ball. Hannes Högström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Holmens FK were the better team. Holmens FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
