When Egon Vennerkvist came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Stråssa BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egon Vennerkvist couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egon Vennerkvist in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frans Kruse saved Real Madrid from getting behind. Frans Kruse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egon Vennerkvist in the 70th minute. Karl-Johan Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Frans Kruse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calle Hedin hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Åkesson in the 87th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Frans Kruse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Arne Nordström kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Egon Vennerkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Bertil Askberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Frans Kruse. Bertil Askberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. The Real Madrid fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stråssa BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
