With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Magnusson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Skark got free with Erik Berggren in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Tommy Jakobsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Anundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Tommy Jakobsson was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 38 played minutes Hyllinge FF got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Jakobsson. Hyllinge FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Marcus Skark scored to the left of an out of position Erik Berggren, making the score, 1-0. In the 46th minute, Georg Pihl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Georg Pihl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes, Karl Gallberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hoting and the Hyllinge FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Anundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Berggren having to interfere. Charles Vikström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Erik Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hyllinge FF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hoting.
