Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tigris IF's Joachim Biörkman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Ånäset fans' excitement grew in the 2nd match minute when Ånäset's Urban Lägdin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Eric Björnberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Arne Larsson was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Eric Björnberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingvar Möller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes Tigris IF got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Höijer. 22 minutes into the game, Kåre Matsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ånäset's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigris IF the free kick. Kåre Matsson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Urban Lägdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Joachim Biörkman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Per-Arne Larsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Martinsson during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Tigris IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. Urban Lägdin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tim Ekström came out and tried to block the shot, but Urban Lägdin slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 34th minute. 41 minutes in the game, Urban Lägdin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tim Ekström having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tigris IF's Torsten Strömberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th play minute Ingvar Möller came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tim Ekström. 3-1. If Eric Björnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urban Lägdin made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Tobias Strand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urban Lägdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tim Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Tigris IF's goal looked a bit too open when Urban Lägdin came free, but Tim Ekström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tim Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Möller in the 64th minute of play. Urban Lägdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Ekström having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Ingvar Möller put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tim Ekström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Lägdin in the 75th minute of play forced Tigris IF's goalkeeper Tim Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th match minute, Tigris IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Urban Lägdin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tim Ekström was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Urban Lägdin scored 6-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tim Ekström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the game, Tobias Strand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ånäset's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigris IF the free kick. 85 minutes into the match, Ånäset's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Björk came free, but Per-Arne Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Ånäset's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joachim Biörkman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Tigris IF defense, Ingvar Möller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Ekström. The Tigris IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Ekström should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Ånäset were the better team. Ånäset's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
