The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ingvar Möller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Ekenberg having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urban Lägdin in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elliot Ekenberg saved Racing Raptors CF from getting behind. Per-Arne Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Racing Raptors CF's Sven-Arne Stor in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ånäset's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute, Viktor Eriksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Raptors CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Lägdin in the 24th minute of play forced Racing Raptors CF's goalkeeper Elliot Ekenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alvin Odman fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Raptors CF's protests and gave Alvin Odman a yellow card for diving instead. Alvin Odman hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Urban Lägdin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elliot Ekenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Urban Lägdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Elliot Ekenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliot Ekenberg made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Urban Lägdin sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

56 minutes into the match, Racing Raptors CF's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Matsson came free, but Elliot Ekenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, Ånäset's Urban Lägdin made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elliot Ekenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Racing Raptors CF's Alvin Odman got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Alvin Odman off the ground. After 68 played minutes Racing Raptors CF got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Odman. Elliot Ekenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urban Lägdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Raptors CF's zone, Ingvar Möller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliot Ekenberg came out of the goal and Ingvar Möller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Urban Lägdin made a precise shot to the right of Elliot Ekenberg. Racing Raptors CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1.
