Rune Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Nyberg in the 3rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Harry Larsson sped through FC Pangberg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rune Ek. Rune Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Åkerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Älvsbyn booed when FC Pangberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Fribäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Kjell-Arne Kalfhage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eskil Åkerman hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Björkdal in the 22nd minute of play forced Älvsbyn's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Stålman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Larsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Rune Ek made a huge save. Rune Ek was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Harry Larsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Harry Larsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Inge Blomqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Pangberg's Rune Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Blomqvist in the 32nd minute of play. If Inge Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven-Olof Fribäck took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Ove Stålman. Karl-Ove Stålman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 45 played minutes Älvsbyn got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Spets. Älvsbyn's Karl-Ove Stålman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Malm in the 46th minute of play. Mark Nyberg hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jonatan Månsson made the kick off in the second half. If Harry Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Pangberg's Rune Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Blomqvist in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Larsson in the 55th minute of play forced FC Pangberg's goalkeeper Rune Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Ek having to interfere. Rune Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskil Åkerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alf Stål charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Stål the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Alf Stål hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, FC Pangberg's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Blomqvist came free, but Rune Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Larsson in the 66th minute of play forced FC Pangberg's goalkeeper Rune Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Karlstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Älvsbyn were awarded a corner. Kjell-Arne Kalfhage went to the cornerflag to take it. Kjell-Arne Kalfhage made a great header on Älvsbyn's corner, it was just that FC Pangberg's Rune Ek managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 70th minute Jonatan Månsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Ove Stålman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Pangberg's Rune Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Larsson in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Pangberg defense, Harry Larsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Ek. The FC Pangberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Ek should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the game, Inge Blomqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Rune Ek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rune Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Larsson in the 87th minute of play. FC Pangberg's Alf Stål got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Alf Stål off the ground. After 88 played minutes FC Pangberg got a freekick which was hit by Alf Stål. Inge Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Ek having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Harry Larsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Rune Ek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Älvsbyn had played much better football throughout.
