A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, Fred Juhlin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ölänningarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Märsta FK the free kick. Fred Juhlin kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Gösta Vik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Siöman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Fred Juhlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viktor Siöman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Juhlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Britz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gottfrid Ahlbeck having to interfere. If Gösta Vik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Märsta FK's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Juhlin came free, but Viktor Siöman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fred Juhlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Märsta FK's zone, Gösta Vik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Siöman came out of the goal and Gösta Vik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ölänningarna's Gösta Vik got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Hans Britz made the kick off in the second half. If Gösta Vik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Märsta FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Gösta Vik scored to the left of an out of position Viktor Siöman, making the score, 0-1. In the 66th minute Henry Söderquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gottfrid Ahlbeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes, Märsta FK's Kaj Skager shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gottfrid Ahlbeck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Märsta FK reached it. Hans Britz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gottfrid Ahlbeck having to interfere. When Kurt Sandström fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ölänningarna's protests and gave Kurt Sandström a yellow card for diving instead. Fred Juhlins short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Viktor Siöman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gösta Vik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Siöman having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ölänningarna players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Märsta FK.
