Gimo RK's Ulf Ferm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svante Blomqvist in the 25th minute of play. After 27th play minutes Svante Blomqvist shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ulf Ferm and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 30th match minute, Gimo RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliot Löv to maneuver through the defense. Gimo RK's Ulf Ferm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Gimo RK from getting a goal against them. After 40 played minutes Gimo RK got a freekick which was hit by Petter Ahlin. Jack Högman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ulf Ferm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svante Blomqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svante Blomqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kaj Frisk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elliot Löv made a kick off. Sonny Bark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Ferm having to interfere. Svante Blomqvist struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ulf Ferm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gråskala IF. Elliot Löv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Svante Blomqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulf Ferm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Frisk in the 66th minute of the match. If Svante Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gråskala IF getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sonny Bark hit a great ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Bernt Bruse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gråskala IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Bruse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st match minute, Gimo RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Fanström to maneuver through the defense. Gimo RK's Ulf Ferm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svante Blomqvist in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Gråskala IF were the better team. Gråskala IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
