Spectators: 7082 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hans Britz got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Hans Britz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Märsta FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Britz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Ek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th match minute, FC Pangberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Björkdal to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Pangberg getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Alf Stål hit a great ball. The supporters of Märsta FK booed when FC Pangberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Björkdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Märsta FK's Osvald Fredriksson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Pangberg. Henry Söderquist took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Ek. Rune Ek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Märsta FK's Hans Britz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rune Ek. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. Rune Ek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Britz's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 39th match minute, FC Pangberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Björkdal to maneuver through the defense. Rune Ek was a little too slow when Hans Britz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 45th minute, Sven-Olof Fribäck made a precise shot to the right of Viktor Siöman. Märsta FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonatan Månsson made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Söderquist in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Pangberg's goalkeeper Rune Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Söderquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rune Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Märsta FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sven-Olof Fribäck fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jonatan Månsson struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Viktor Siöman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pangberg. Jonatan Månsson succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Söderquist in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Pangberg's goalkeeper Rune Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Henry Söderquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axel Dalström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henry Söderquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Märsta FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
