The tension between the Ullared and the chelsea players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ullared's Henrik Larsfält got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game Knut Arvidsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ullared's Olof Mikaelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Urban Hjeltman came free, but Åke Ingvall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urban Hjeltman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Åke Ingvall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Arvidsson in the 29th minute of play forced Ullared's goalkeeper Olof Mikaelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Henrik Larsfält hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, chelsea's goalkeeper Åke Ingvall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urban Hjeltman. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Knut Åkerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ullared's supporters rose to their feet, but Knut Åkerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Ingvall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gunnar Zachrisson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Knut Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Urban Hjeltman came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ullared fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urban Hjeltman couldn't finish the play. Eddie Nordgren charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eddie Nordgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Nordgren. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Knut Åkerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ullared's supporters rose to their feet, but Knut Åkerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Ingvall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Knut Arvidsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henrik Larsfält struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Åke Ingvall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ullared. Urban Hjeltman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Ingvall having to interfere. In the 57th play minute Per-Erik Jansson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Olof Mikaelsson. 0-1. If Urban Hjeltman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Knut Åkerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of chelsea booed when Ullared was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Zachrisson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Ullared's Edgar Hansson got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olof Mikaelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Arvidsson in the 87th minute of the match. Knut Arvidsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olof Mikaelsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The Ullared supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching chelsea's performance. The match ended with a win for chelsea.
