Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Börje Berg started the match with the kick off. Gustaf Tillman struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Andreas Överman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vrigstad RK. The supporters of FC Gigant booed when Vrigstad RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Nordmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Gustaf Tillman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Överman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gert Asserlindh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anton Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Asserlindh having to interfere. Gert Asserlindh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anton Eklund's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Vrigstad RK's Gert Asserlindh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Berg in the 36th minute of play. Gustaf Tillman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Andreas Överman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaf Tillman in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Överman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Gustaf Tillman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Gigant's Rikard Drake got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, FC Gigant's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Tillman came free, but Andreas Överman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Gert Asserlindh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Hjalmar Lövskog made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, FC Gigant's Börje Berg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gert Asserlindh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gert Asserlindh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Berg in the 58th minute of play. Anton Eklund's late challenge caught a Vrigstad RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Eklund helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Gigant getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Anton Eklund hit a great ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Gustaf Tillman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vrigstad RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaf Tillman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustaf Tillman scored 1-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Överman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gustaf Tillman came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Vrigstad RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaf Tillman couldn't finish the play. The attack was good, but when Anton Eklund in the 81st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 97th minute, Hjalmar Lövskog reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andreas Överman. The goal made the score 1-2.
