But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Östensson couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Markus Grep hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zenon Bendyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melker Sundberg in the 17th minute of the match. When Norrtälje RK's Patrik Karlsson in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Locos's goalie prevented a goal. Norrtälje RK's Melker Ahlroht proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Norrtälje RK from getting a goal against them. Zenon Bendyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Karlsson in the 29th minute of the match. Norrtälje RK were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Los Locos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonardo Lundström took the corner. Holger Strömbom's late challenge caught a Norrtälje RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Holger Strömbom helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Norrtälje RK booed when Los Locos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Strömbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Norrtälje RK's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Bäck came free, but Melker Ahlroht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zenon Bendyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melker Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Los Locos's zone, Patrik Karlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zenon Bendyk came out of the goal and Patrik Karlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Patrik Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norrtälje RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Karlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zenon Bendyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, one of Los Locos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Locos. Zenon Bendyk had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Leonardo Lundström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melker Sundberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Melker Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Bendyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Karlsson struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Zenon Bendyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norrtälje RK. Norrtälje RK's Melker Sundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrik Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Markus Östensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Ahlroht having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Norrtälje RK's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Strömbom came free, but Melker Ahlroht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Norrtälje RK's Patrik Karlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zenon Bendyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zenon Bendyk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melker Sundberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 79 minute of play. If Patrik Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Melker Sundberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zenon Bendyk was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Norrtälje RK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
