But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Gudmundsson couldn't finish the play. If Kristoffer Kvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kälarne's Kurt Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Kvist in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristoffer Kvist in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kurt Carlsson saved Kälarne from getting behind. If Tobias Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Kälarne's Tobias Samuelsson in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EB2's goalie prevented a goal. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Kälarne's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Kvist came free, but Kurt Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, EB2's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roger Stigsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Samuelsson to make the kick off. Torbjörn Boman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roger Stigsson went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 77 minutes EB2's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jens Stenman who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jens Stenman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but EB2's Torbjörn Boman did a great save. Tobias Samuelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
