He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fågelmara reached it. In the 19th minute, Jonny Boman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fågelmara's Jörgen Söderberg didn't even have to move. Eric Pihlblad might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jörgen Söderberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eric Pihlblad ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo Flinck got free with Jörgen Söderberg in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Fågelmara's Henry Almstedt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Måns Tham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34thth minute of the game Henry Almstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boets IK's Måns Tham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henry Almstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Måns Tham having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eric Pihlblad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fågelmara's Rolf Harman got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Henry Almstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fågelmara's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Almstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Måns Tham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anton Rosendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fågelmara's Jörgen Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Pihlblad in the 75th minute of play.
