The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joachim Pihlgren was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Nils Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skepplanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Lundin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Fribäck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute of the match Örjan Hybbert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Fribäck skillfully saved the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mulle IFK's goalkeeper Arne Fribäck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute Joachim Pihlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Kellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Fribäck showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Persson got free with Linus Kellbom in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nils Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mulle IFK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Skepplanda.
