After a defensive mix-up in Hedenäset IK's zone, Adrian Abrahamsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Sandell came out of the goal and Adrian Abrahamsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrik Sandell came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Flower City's Edvin Hellström. But to his dismay, Edvin Hellström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Flower City getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Marko Gustafsson hit a great ball. The supporters of Flower City booed when Hedenäset IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Asserlind didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivar Berggren got free with Robin Bållström in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute of the match Charlie Dalström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrik Sandell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Abrahamsson to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Hedenäset IK's Ivar Wallman got a free kick in the 55th minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Adrian Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flower City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Abrahamsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flower City's Adrian Abrahamsson got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67thth minute of the game Olof Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flower City's Robin Bållström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
