Gunnarsbyn BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Lindström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Qvalfeldt got free with Kurt Damm in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Gunnarsbyn BF's Kurt Damm threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christian Lindström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kurt Damm came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Gunnarsbyn BF's Christian Lindström. But to his dismay, Christian Lindström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After some careless play in the Gunnarsbyn BF defense, Anders Westerstrand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mårten Berggren. The Gunnarsbyn BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mårten Berggren should have stopped the shot. Gösta Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gunnarsbyn BF's Jens-Åke Bergstedt got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Gösta Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gunnarsbyn BF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
