A collision led to Timmersdala FF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dan Henriksson hit a great ball. If Gunnar Qvalfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Dan Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Timmersdala FF's goalkeeper Anton Hultstrand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunnar Qvalfeldt. If Gunnar Qvalfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Anton Hultstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Qvalfeldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anton Hultstrand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Kent Boberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Timmersdala FF booed when Gunnarsbyn BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Åke Bergstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Tobias Söderkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mårten Berggren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Gunnarsbyn BF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Timmersdala FF were winning 0-1.

Christer Olsson kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Gunnarsbyn BF's Gunnar Qvalfeldt got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Christian Lindström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Hultstrand was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Tobias Söderkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timmersdala FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Söderkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mårten Berggren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Arvidsson in the 61st minute of play forced Gunnarsbyn BF's goalkeeper Mårten Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Gunnarsbyn BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Bergstedt to maneuver through the defense. Mårten Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Arvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eric Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 minutes of play, Gunnarsbyn BF's Christian Lindström made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anton Hultstrand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timmersdala FF's Tobias Söderkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Timmersdala FF's zone, Gunnar Qvalfeldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Hultstrand came out of the goal and Gunnar Qvalfeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Christian Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, André Gustavsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
