Per Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Westerstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th match minute, Brap Stockholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Hallgren to maneuver through the defense. Anders Westerstrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Eriksson having to interfere. August Nässén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Damm having to interfere. Jan-Erik Askberg charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Tom Eliasson might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurt Damm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Damm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Damm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Blomqvist in the 41st minute of the match. Linus Hedkvist hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gösta Lundin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anders Westerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 57 minutes into the match, Anders Westerstrand notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BK Gallan's Per Eriksson. Per Eriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anders Westerstrand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per Eriksson was a little too slow when Gösta Lundin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 75th minute, August Nässén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Gallan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Nils Boman fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brap Stockholm's protests and gave Nils Boman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Brap Stockholm's Nils Boman got a free kick in the 78th minute. Kurt Damm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from August Nässén in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, BK Gallan's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Lundin came free, but Per Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Anders Westerstrand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brap Stockholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Westerstrand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Eriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Anders Westerstrand notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of BK Gallan's Per Eriksson. Per Eriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of BK Gallan booed when Brap Stockholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Collin didn't get a good kick on the ball. August Nässén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Kurt Damm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Brap Stockholm left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BK Gallan.
