After 17 played minutes Timmersdala FF got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Söderkvist. Tobias Söderkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Smed was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Tomas Smed got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Timmersdala FF's Anton Hultstrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Timmersdala FF from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Dan Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tomas Smed managed to get in a good position for a shot. Myresjö's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Smed was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Hultstrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Edmund Bank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Tobias Söderkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmund Bank was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Söderkvist in the 48th minute of play forced Myresjö's goalkeeper Edmund Bank to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Myresjö players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Timmersdala FF were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eric Arvidsson was the one to do the kick off. Myresjö's Arne Bäck got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Bäcklin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Anton Hultstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Smed in the 63rd minute of the match. Anton Hultstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Smed in the 67th minute of play. If Tomas Smed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edmund Bank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Arvidsson in the 80th minute of play. Arne Bäck kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Edmund Bank successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Tomas Smed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Tomas Smed ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Hultstrand was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Timmersdala FF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
