Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl-Ove Ahlerot took the kick off in the first half of the match. Horn's Per-Åke Vacker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Hägert in the 5th minute of play. After some careless play in the Horn defense, Ingvar Hägert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per-Åke Vacker. The Horn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per-Åke Vacker should have stopped the shot. When Mattias Gulliksson came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Horn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Gulliksson couldn't finish the play. Jan-Olof Vase fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Åke Vacker having to interfere. In the 16th minute Ingvar Hägert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Åke Vacker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horn's Per-Åke Vacker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Hägert in the 18th minute of play. Horn's Mattias Gulliksson got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Gulliksson in the 34th minute of play forced Spurs's goalkeeper Isak Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Gulliksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isak Strömberg having to interfere. Horn's Mattias Gulliksson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 55th minute Jan-Olof Vase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Åke Vacker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Nordmark got free with Isak Strömberg in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute Karl-Ove Ahlerot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Åke Vacker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Rudberg in the 72nd minute of play. When Stig Rudberg fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spurs's protests and gave Stig Rudberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Spurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Rudberg to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Spurs got a freekick which was hit by Josef Hansson. In the 77th minute of the match Bengt-Åke Jakobsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isak Strömberg skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Spurs's Ian Axelsson got a free kick in the 78th minute. Karl-Ove Ahlerot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Jan-Erik Gudmundsson from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Isak Strömberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 84 minutes into the match, Spurs's goalkeeper Isak Strömberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattias Gulliksson. If Ingvar Hägert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Nordmark might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isak Strömberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Nordmark ran back to his position shaking his head. If Martin Nordmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
