The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peder Waller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Ekerot having to interfere. The supporters of FC Orten booed when Vinninga RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Nässén didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, Vinninga RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Brogren to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Bäckström, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 21st minute Erland Mellin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Ekerot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Philip Apelqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Philip Apelqvist came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Vinninga RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Apelqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Arvid Frisk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Apelqvist in the 29th minute of play forced FC Orten's goalkeeper Villiam Kellman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Peder Waller came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the FC Orten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peder Waller couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Malte Molin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Villiam Kellman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 61st minute, Erland Mellin made a precise shot to the right of Christer Ekerot. Vinninga RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 63 played minutes Vinninga RK got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Brogren. Arvid Frisk hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Malte Molin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 79 minutes, Erland Mellin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Orten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erland Mellin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Philip Apelqvist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Villiam Kellman, passed just outside the right post. After 86 minutes, Lucas Brogren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vinninga RK and the FC Orten players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Vinninga RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Brogren to maneuver through the defense.
