The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tord Kvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Einar Nordin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Yngve Berglund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Malcolm Ahlin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tord Kvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Vedholm having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Mattias Andreasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Graninge BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Henning Holmberg lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Herbert Vedholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Sandström in the 75th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Tord Kvist in the 78th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Tord Kvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herbert Vedholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ola Persson in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, BroVentus's Einar Nordin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yngve Berglund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.
