After a rather tough play, Alingsås's Svante Hedin got a free kick in the 12th minute. Kenny Jonsson took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mattias Myhr. Mattias Myhr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Otto Nordstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philip Blomberg was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. If Wilhelm Sundén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Myhr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svante Hedin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenny Jonsson in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mattias Myhr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Markus Åströms short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Philip Blomberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wilhelm Sundén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Alingsås's Kenneth Skark got a free kick in the 45th minute. Steffs Boys Bois's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alvin Alebom in the 48th minute. After the first half Steffs Boys Bois were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Otto Nordstedt made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Markus Åström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Blomberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otto Nordstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Blomberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Jonsson in the 62nd minute of play forced Alingsås's goalkeeper Mattias Myhr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Jonsson in the 70th minute of play forced Alingsås's goalkeeper Mattias Myhr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenneth Skark hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Philip Blomberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Åström in the 74th minute of play. Edmund Esbjörnsson charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Esbjörnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Edmund Esbjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otto Nordstedt in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philip Blomberg saved Steffs Boys Bois from getting behind. Wilhelm Sundén might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mattias Myhr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Steffs Boys Bois's goalkeeper Philip Blomberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Edmund Esbjörnsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. In the 97th match minute, Steffs Boys Bois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Esbjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. Philip Blomberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Åström in the 98th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Steffs Boys Bois had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
