The supporters of Sektion Retro Stockholm booed when Skollens skedhål was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilgot Vallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Åke Larsfelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Skollens skedhål getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Simon Arvidsson hit a great ball. If Jens-Åke Larsfelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Skollens skedhål's Vilgot Vallman got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jens-Åke Larsfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Lenberg having to interfere. Stellan Backlund kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Sektion Retro Stockholm's Christer Hedling managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sven-Arne Flink in the 21 minute of the game. Arne Löv didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthias Hammarberg went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Vilgot Alebom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Lenberg having to interfere. Vidar Axelsson took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Lenberg. Thomas Lenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Sektion Retro Stockholm's Christer Hedling got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arne Löv made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Matthias Hammarberg sent off a good shot on target. Jens-Åke Larsfelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Thomas Lenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Hedling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Lenberg having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Simon Arvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Åke Larsfelt in the 48th minute of play forced Skollens skedhål's goalkeeper Thomas Lenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Magnus Billström to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alfons Lenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christopher Bredberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthias Hammarberg hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Sektion Retro Stockholm's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vidar Axelsson in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Skollens skedhål's zone, Vilgot Alebom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Lenberg came out of the goal and Vilgot Alebom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vilgot Alebom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Thomas Lenberg made a huge save. With a little luck, Skollens skedhål's Thomas Lenberg got control of the ball when Christer Hedling tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sektion Retro Stockholm's Christer Hedling got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jens-Åke Larsfelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Thomas Lenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Lenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Åke Larsfelt in the 81st minute. If Christer Hedling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Jens-Åke Larsfelt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Vidar Axelsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Thomas Lenberg, passed just outside the right post. Vilgot Alebom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Lenberg having to interfere. Vilgot Alebom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Thomas Lenberg made a huge save. Sektion Retro Stockholm's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
