An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidar Axelsson in the 6th minute of play forced Steffs Boys Bois's goalkeeper Philip Blomberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes, Åke Sikström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Steffs Boys Bois and the Sektion Retro Stockholm players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Steffs Boys Bois's Åke Sikström got a free kick in the 8th minute. Steffs Boys Bois's Philip Blomberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Axelsson in the 9th minute of play. Edmund Esbjörnsson charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Esbjörnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Steffs Boys Bois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Esbjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. Kenny Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 16 minutes, Wilhelm Sundén made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sektion Retro Stockholm's Arne Löv tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 2-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Kenny Jonsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Vidar Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Åke Larsfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Blomberg having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play Steffs Boys Bois's Edmund Esbjörnsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Sektion Retro Stockholm booed when Steffs Boys Bois was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Esbjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 minutes, Jens-Åke Larsfelt mouthed his way into the referee's book. Philip Blomberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Åke Larsfelt, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Sven-Åke Blomkvist came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Steffs Boys Bois fans jumped to their feet. Philip Blomberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidar Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Steffs Boys Bois's Kenny Jonsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Löv made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 67th minute, Jens-Åke Larsfelt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A hard shot 68 in the game by Vilgot Alebom from a close distance when the talented Philip Blomberg managed to make a qualified save. Steffs Boys Bois's players were relieved. 76 minutes into the game, Vilgot Alebom lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Philip Blomberg. 82 minutes into the match, Jens-Åke Larsfelt notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Steffs Boys Bois's Philip Blomberg. Philip Blomberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Philip Blomberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Hedling, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Christer Hedling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Philip Blomberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Sektion Retro Stockholm's Jens-Åke Larsfelt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philip Blomberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jens-Åke Larsfelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th match minute, Steffs Boys Bois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Blomkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Jens-Åke Larsfelt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Philip Blomberg, passed just outside the right post. Many of Sektion Retro Stockholm's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sektion Retro Stockholm may have spent more time on the ball, but Steffs Boys Bois were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
