Harald Frykberg made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Felix Mellin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Imperial FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Elliott Axelsson hit a great ball. Harald Frykberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kevin Stolpe. Felix Mellin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harald Frykberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Mellin in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute Bernt Näver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Häger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vidar Kruse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harald Frykberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Bernt Näver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hakenäset FF's Jan Häger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan Häger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragnar Myr, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Ragnar Myr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imperial FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Imperial FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vidar Kruse 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Kenny Hägg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vidar Kruse made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Hakenäset FF's goalkeeper Jan Häger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Näver. Harald Frykberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidar Kruse, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jan Häger was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Ragnar Myr capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ragnar Myr really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Bernt Näver's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Jan Häger skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ragnar Myr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Niklas Classon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vidar Kruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Harald Frykberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Imperial FC's Harald Frykberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Kruse in the 90th minute of play. Jan Häger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernt Näver in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Imperial FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
