Imperial FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Näver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Sandell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the game, one of Strömsnäsbruk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ragnar Myr made a kick off. Imperial FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
