Sharmotinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernst Håkansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ragnar Lindholm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernst Håkansson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Osvald Björkqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sharmotinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvald Björkqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ragnar Lindholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Georg Engström struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ragnar Lindholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sharmotinho. After having played for 24 minutes, Leif Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sharmotinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernst Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Lindholm having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Ernst Håkansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ragnar Lindholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Håkansson in the 38th minute of the match. Osvald Björkqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ragnar Lindholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Fredrik Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Lindholm having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernst Håkansson was the one to do the kick off. Smögen FK's Esbjörn Åström got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esbjörn Torsberg's late challenge caught a Sharmotinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esbjörn Torsberg helped the player get up and apologised. 55 minutes into the match, Sharmotinho's Ernst Håkansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ragnar Lindholm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Smögen FK's zone, Georg Engström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ragnar Lindholm came out of the goal and Georg Engström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sharmotinho's Aleksander Salqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stellan Lindström in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Stellan Lindström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aleksander Salqvist, 1-1. Leif Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernst Håkansson in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ragnar Lindholm saved Smögen FK from getting behind. When Esbjörn Torsberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Smögen FK's Esbjörn Torsberg got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ragnar Lindholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Håkansson in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Sharmotinho getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Claes Fastesson hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esbjörn Åström got free with Aleksander Salqvist in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claes Fastesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Petersson in the 88th minute of play forced Smögen FK's goalkeeper Ragnar Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Georg Engström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ragnar Lindholm. Sharmotinho's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
