Spectators: 6682 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Patrik Nordström got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Dennis Lundberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Björn Askelöf struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Nils-Erik Aleberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Västerås United FC. In the 15th minute, Västerås United FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Thor Hansson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Isac Blanck's late challenge caught a Bredared BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isac Blanck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute of the match Arne Gunnarsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carl Hedkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Patrik Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Västerås United FC:s Carl Hedkvist showed great skill when he stopped Arne Gunnarsson:s penalty. Carl Hedkvist came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Bredared BK's Arne Gunnarsson. But to his dismay, Arne Gunnarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thor Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Carl Hedkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Västerås United FC booed when Bredared BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Bergström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bredared BK's Thor Hansson got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dennis Lundberg made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Mårten Olofsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bredared BK and the Västerås United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bredared BK's Mårten Olofsson got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Dennis Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pelle Överman hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Sune Boklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Dennis Lundberg made a precise shot to the right of Nils-Erik Aleberg. Bredared BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 65 minutes, David Bank mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bredared BK and the Västerås United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bredared BK's David Bank got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 71 minutes of play, Bredared BK's Thor Hansson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Hedkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herbert Bergström hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Patrik Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2-2 came through a penalty shot after 95 played minutes, when Västerås United FC:s Daniel Bergsten calmly waited for Bredared BK:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Dennis Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
