In the 2nd minute, Svante Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute, Thor Hansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Backman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nils-Erik Aleberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Kollberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Thor Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bredared BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Thor Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Backman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thor Hansson struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Isaac Backman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bredared BK. Isaac Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mårten Olofsson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When Björn Kollberg came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Helsingborgs IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Kollberg couldn't finish the play. Bredared BK's Nils-Erik Aleberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Bredared BK from getting a goal against them. Isaac Backman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Nordström, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Helsingborgs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Hansson came free, but Isaac Backman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mårten Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Backman having to interfere. Patrik Nordström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Isaac Backman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Helsingborgs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Näver to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Arne Gunnarsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Helsingborgs IF's Isaac Backman didn't even have to move. Isaac Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Hansson in the 47th minute of play. The Helsingborgs IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bredared BK were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Björn Kollberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ted Vallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Kollberg in the 54th minute of play forced Bredared BK's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Aleberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Helsingborgs IF's Björn Kollberg in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bredared BK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th match minute, Helsingborgs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Åström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Nordström in the 65th minute of play forced Helsingborgs IF's goalkeeper Isaac Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Ted Vallander notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bredared BK's Nils-Erik Aleberg. Nils-Erik Aleberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the match, Bredared BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Vallander came free, but Nils-Erik Aleberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Kollberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Bredared BK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Helsingborgs IF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
