Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wiktor Lange started the match with the kick off. It was a brilliant solo performance by IFK Sollentuna's Kurt Tolsson when he shot the ball into the net to 1-0 in the 7th minute. 13 minutes into the match, IFK Sollentuna's Torsten Vennersten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Biörk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of IFK Sollentuna booed when Sandared FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Lange didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Tolsson came free in the 26th minute and tried to tip the ball over Jan Biörk, but to the joy of Sandared FK's supporters the ball went over. IFK Sollentuna's David Pil got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Wiktor Lange made a precise shot to the right of Sten Carlsson. IFK Sollentuna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Verner Klemensson charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Verner Klemensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Verner Klemensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, David Pil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Björn Kiempe hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Wiktor Lange got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Pil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. IFK Sollentuna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandared FK the free kick. After 72 played minutes IFK Sollentuna got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Tolsson. Sandared FK's Kent Hansson got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wiktor Lange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
