Sandared FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andy Qvalfeldt ran over to the corner to take the kick. 5 minutes into the game, Stig Hedberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan Biörk. Stig Hedberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Bergkvara's Conny Stensson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Biörk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 10 minutes, Kjell-Arne Bergstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bergkvara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell-Arne Bergstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjell-Arne Bergstedt got free with Jan Biörk in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Biörk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conny Stensson in the 14th minute of the match. Jan Biörk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conny Stensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd match minute, Bergkvara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Hammarberg to maneuver through the defense. Wiktor Lange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Forsman having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Sandared FK's goalkeeper Jan Biörk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kjell-Arne Bergstedt. Wiktor Lange kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Sandared FK's goal looked a bit too open when Conny Stensson came free, but Jan Biörk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conny Stensson was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Lundin during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute Conny Stensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Biörk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kjell-Arne Bergstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Biörk was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Stensson in the 64th minute of play forced Sandared FK's goalkeeper Jan Biörk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes of play, Bergkvara's Kjell-Arne Bergstedt made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Biörk was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 75 played minutes Sandared FK got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Hjortberg. Wiktor Lange's late challenge caught a Bergkvara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wiktor Lange helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Wiktor Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conny Stensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell-Arne Bergstedt struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jan Biörk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bergkvara. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Stensson in the 87th minute of play forced Sandared FK's goalkeeper Jan Biörk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bergkvara walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
