Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) Viktor Jansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Gustafsson having to interfere. Per-Åke Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Håning in the 9th minute of play. After 11 played minutes GrisNallens Vänner got a freekick which was hit by Börje Söderquist. Alf Håning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Olenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Zebastian Böcklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Alf Håning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Åke Valrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mölnlycke FF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Fritz Igelström hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, GrisNallens Vänner's Bengt-Rune Lindström got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes, Mölnlycke FF's Kjell Hansson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Per-Åke Valrot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mölnlycke FF reached it. In the 30th match minute, Mölnlycke FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Hansson to maneuver through the defense. If John Olenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Börje Söderquist's late challenge caught a Mölnlycke FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Börje Söderquist helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mölnlycke FF booed when GrisNallens Vänner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Söderquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Olenberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Alf Håning managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mölnlycke FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Håning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Åke Valrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Roy Bryngelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Fritz Igelström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roy Bryngelsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Mölnlycke FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. John Olenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Stefan Gustafsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Ulf Lundblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Alf Håning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Per-Åke Valrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Håning in the 86th minute. John Olenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Stefan Gustafsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
