In the 20th minute of the match Stig-Åke Blomberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boris Gregersson skillfully saved the ball. In the 27th match minute, hjärt och lungfonden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Kämpe to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes, hjärt och lungfonden's Sven-Oskar Skarkman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Boris Gregersson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in hjärt och lungfonden reached it. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viggo Kämpe to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Zinkgruvan's zone, Daniel Bokelund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Gregersson came out of the goal and Daniel Bokelund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Alvin Ahlin made a precise shot to the right of Jimmy Sörman. hjärt och lungfonden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 79th match minute, Zinkgruvan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Ahlin to maneuver through the defense. Zinkgruvan's Patrik Biörkman pulled a muscle in his leg after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Axel Landin struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Boris Gregersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Kämpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Viggo Kämpe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boris Gregersson having to make a save. With a little luck, Zinkgruvan's Boris Gregersson got control of the ball when Daniel Bokelund tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 96 played minutes Zinkgruvan got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Ahlin. Boris Gregersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viggo Kämpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hjärt och lungfonden players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Zinkgruvan from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
