A collision led to Överlida getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Hans Åkerman hit a great ball. Överlida's Hans Gruber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Överlida from getting a goal against them. Hans Åkerman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Överlida fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Sven-Arne Helberg struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Emil Sandström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Överlida. If Albin Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albin Strömberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Gruber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Wennerberg in the 16th minute of play. Hans Gruber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Wennerberg in the 23rd minute of the match. Sven-Arne Helberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Sandström having to interfere. Charles Petersson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Rikard Henriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hans Gruber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Henriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Överlida's Hans Gruber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Wennerberg in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Harald Edström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Arne Helberg to make the kick off. Hans Gruber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Wennerberg in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Timmersdala getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. David Blomquist hit a great ball. Tord Busk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hans Gruber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Douglas Palm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Överlida and the Timmersdala players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Tord Busk, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 64 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Hans Gruber was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Sven-Arne Helberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Timmersdala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Hagberg to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Överlida getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Albin Strömberg hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Erik Bodin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Charles Petersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sören Österberg hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Sven-Arne Helberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Överlida's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Arne Helberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Sandström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
