Spectators: 6687 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joachim Lidberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. The Torsåker IFK fans' excitement grew in the 2nd match minute when Torsåker IFK's Nils-Emil Bäckman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pål Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Lars Högman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pål Ek came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Torsåker IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pål Ek couldn't finish the play. Nils-Emil Bäckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pål Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Båstad's Lars Högman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Hedström in the 15th minute of play. When Joachim Lidberg fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Båstad's protests and gave Joachim Lidberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Båstad got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Lidberg. Nils-Emil Bäckman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Högman having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Joachim Lidberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Tommy Dalgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torsåker IFK's Pål Ek managed to work through Båstad's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Pål Ek dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 30 minutes, Tommy Dalgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Båstad and the Torsåker IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Båstad's Tommy Dalgren got a free kick in the 30th minute. Lars Högman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Bäckman in the 34th minute of the match. Pål Ek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Båstad's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Emil Bäckman came free, but Lars Högman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pål Ek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars Högman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Nils-Emil Bäckman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars Högman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 45 minutes of play, Torsåker IFK's Nils-Emil Bäckman made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Högman was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Torsåker IFK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nils-Emil Bäckman made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Emil Bäckman in the 51st minute of play forced Båstad's goalkeeper Lars Högman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nils-Emil Bäckman came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Torsåker IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Emil Bäckman couldn't finish the play. Nils-Emil Bäckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Nils-Emil Bäckman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lars Högman. That made the score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. In the 66th minute Nils-Emil Bäckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Högman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Emil Bäckman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Högman having to interfere. Nils-Emil Bäckman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars Högman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. If Pål Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pål Ek in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lars Högman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nils-Emil Bäckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Lars Högman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 minutes of play, Torsåker IFK's Pål Ek made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Högman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pål Ek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Lars Högman made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Torsåker IFK's Nils-Emil Bäckman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lars Högman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Torsåker IFK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Båstad throughout the match.
