In the 10th minute of the match Valter Dusett sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Björn Bröms skillfully saved the ball. Björn Bröms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Bäckman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Bröms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Ek in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Petersson in the 16th minute of play forced Torsåker IFK's goalkeeper Henry Ekeberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torsåker IFK's Nils-Emil Bäckman got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Björn Bröms stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils-Emil Bäckman's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Nils-Emil Bäckman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torsåker IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Emil Bäckman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Björn Bröms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Pål Ek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Björn Bröms was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Walter Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torsåker IFK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
