Kent Brolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tom Beck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Beck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Brolin in the 8th minute of play. If Kent Brolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when AFC Swanselona's Ingvar Knutsson fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 16th minute, AFC Swanselona's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sebastian Sandberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sune Palmquist was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Sebastian Sandberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Sandberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 25 played minutes AFC Swanselona got a freekick which was hit by Krister Dusett. AFC Swanselona's Sune Palmquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Swanselona from getting a goal against them. A collision led to AFC Swanselona getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Erik Arvidsson hit a great ball. Hallaryd's Christoffer Kvarnström got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingvar Knutsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Beck having to interfere. Ingvar Knutsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kent Brolin to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, AFC Swanselona's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Sandberg came free, but Sune Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Sandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Palmquist having to interfere. Hallaryd's Sven Tinglöf got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Sebastian Sandberg got free in front of the goal in the 81st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Sune Palmquist was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Sven Tinglöf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Palmquist having to interfere. A collision led to AFC Swanselona getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jan Kock hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven Tinglöf in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sune Palmquist saved AFC Swanselona from getting behind. If Sebastian Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sune Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Sandberg in the 96th minute of the match.
