Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stefan Wallin kicked off to start the match. Stefan Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Magnus Trillkott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lennart Svartengren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Utö's supporters rose to their feet, but Lennart Svartengren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magnus Trillkott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stefan Wallin let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 17th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Stefan Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Magnus Trillkott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralf Anundsson struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Eric Beck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rinkaby IFK. If Axel Ekrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Beck came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Rinkaby IFK's Ralf Anundsson. But to his dismay, Ralf Anundsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Utö booed when Rinkaby IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patric Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Stefan Wallin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magnus Trillkott was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

Inge Söderström lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 51st minute, one of Utö:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Utö. Utö's Marko Vennerberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hubert Ferm in the 60 minute of the game. With a little luck, Utö's Eric Beck got control of the ball when Ralf Anundsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Lennart Svartengren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennart Svartengren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Ekrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Beck having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Utö got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Nordgren. After a defensive mix-up in Rinkaby IFK's zone, Lennart Svartengren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magnus Trillkott came out of the goal and Lennart Svartengren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eric Beck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Ekrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Eric Beck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Hansson in the 99th minute of the match. The Utö supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rinkaby IFK's performance. The match ended with a win for Rinkaby IFK.
