Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Insjön IK's Viktor Forsman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Rinkaby IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Vassenius came free, but Magnus Trillkott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute, Viktor Forsman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Rinkaby IFK's Herbert Fagrell got a free kick in the 6th minute. The corner ended in Marko Borre almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rinkaby IFK's Magnus Trillkott did a great save. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Viktor Forsman sped through Rinkaby IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Magnus Trillkott. After 14 minutes of play, Insjön IK's Viktor Forsman made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Magnus Trillkott was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Rinkaby IFK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Axel Ekrot hit a great ball. Joseph Vassenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Axel Ekrot fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rinkaby IFK's protests and gave Axel Ekrot a yellow card for diving instead. Axel Ekrot hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Magnus Trillkott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Vassenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 played minutes Insjön IK got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Forsman. Ralf Anundsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Paul Runberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Insjön IK's Paul Runberg got control of the ball when Ralf Anundsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, Axel Ekrot reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paul Runberg. The goal made the score 1-2. The Rinkaby IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Insjön IK were winning 1-2.

The supporters of Insjön IK booed when Rinkaby IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Ferm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Forsman kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Insjön IK's Marko Borre broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Insjön IK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Marko Borre hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Jimmie Vacker got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paul Runberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Bertil Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralf Anundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Viktor Forsman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertil Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Runberg having to interfere. Insjön IK's Paul Runberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Hansson in the 79th minute of play. Patrik Rosendal kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Marko Borre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Magnus Trillkott. Rinkaby IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an all-out effort, Insjön IK's Magnus Trillkott threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viktor Forsman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th minute Viktor Forsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Trillkott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertil Hansson took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Runberg. Paul Runberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 91st minute, Axel Ekrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
