But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Asklund couldn't finish the play. Michael Svartengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Michael Svartengren was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, Assyriska IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonathan Bohlin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 28th minute Leo Asklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Svartengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Svartengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Asklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Asklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Bohlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Kristian Bodin made the kick off in the second half. Michael Svartengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Bohlin in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Leo Asklund made a precise shot to the right of Michael Svartengren. Assyriska IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 89thth minute of the game Leo Asklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Assyriska IF's Michael Svartengren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Leo Asklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Svartengren was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Robert Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Bodin in the 91st minute of play. Leo Asklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Michael Svartengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 99 minutes, Alfons Bokelund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Järna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfons Bokelund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Järna had played much better football throughout.
