Helge Henriksson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, one of Gössarps BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gössarps BK. Örjan Björkdahl came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Reftele's Stig-Arne Strömqvist. But to his dismay, Stig-Arne Strömqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Gössarps BK's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Björling came free, but Örjan Björkdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Simon Nyberg made a precise shot to the right of Örjan Björkdahl. Gössarps BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 30 minutes into the match, Gössarps BK's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Wallander came free, but Örjan Björkdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magnus Wallander in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Örjan Björkdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simon Nyberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Gössarps BK's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Wallander came free, but Örjan Björkdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Oskar Pilblad was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Oskar Pilblad in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Örjan Björkdahl saved Gössarps BK from getting behind. With a little luck, Gössarps BK's Örjan Björkdahl got control of the ball when Gabriel Björling tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Pilblad in the 65th minute of play forced Gössarps BK's goalkeeper Örjan Björkdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magnus Wallander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Örjan Björkdahl made a huge save. A collision led to Reftele getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Evert Bure hit a great ball. The supporters of Reftele booed when Gössarps BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position.
