Karl-Oskar Pilblad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anders Enström having to make a save. 17 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Suécia's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Oskar Pilblad came free, but Anders Enström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esquadrão Suécia's Per-Åke Odman got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Reftele booed when Esquadrão Suécia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Henriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reftele's Magnus Wallander got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per-Åke Odman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Per-Åke Odman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt-Åke Vase was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Gabriel Björling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th match minute, Esquadrão Suécia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Staffan Stenquist to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Reftele's Robin Bröms tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Magnus Wallander made a precise shot to the right of Anders Enström. Esquadrão Suécia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magnus Wallander got free with Anders Enström in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Åke Odman made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Karl-Oskar Pilblad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reftele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Oskar Pilblad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Åke Odman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Åke Vase having to interfere. Aron Henriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Per-Åke Odman in the 64th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Bengt-Åke Vase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Odman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Suécia's Staffan Stenquist got a free kick in the 79th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Magnus Wallander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reftele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magnus Wallander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aron Henriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Bengt-Åke Vase made a huge save. After some careless play in the Reftele defense, Andréas Nässén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt-Åke Vase. The Reftele fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt-Åke Vase should have stopped the shot. Reftele succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Esquadrão Suécia had controlled the match.
