Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl-Oskar Pilblad took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Karl-Oskar Pilblad came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Reftele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Oskar Pilblad couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Norrtan utd getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Mark Heggert hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Norrtan utd's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Wallander came free, but Olle Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Peter Bock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norrtan utd's Gottfrid Rydberg got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But to his dismay, Karl-Oskar Pilblad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 29 minutes into the game, Karl-Oskar Pilblad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Olle Åberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Wallander in the 36th minute of play forced Norrtan utd's goalkeeper Olle Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Georg Eliasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norrtan utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reftele the free kick. Norrtan utd:s Olle Åberg showed great skill when he stopped Robin Bröms:s penalty. Peter Bocks short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Bengt-Åke Vase to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gottfrid Rydberg made a kick off. Gottfrid Rydberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Bengt-Åke Vase tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magnus Wallander scored 0-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olle Åberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gottfrid Rydberg in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Åke Vase prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olle Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Pilblad in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Norrtan utd getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Stig-Arne Duset hit a great ball. Magnus Wallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Magnus Wallander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Peter Bock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Oskar Pilblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Olle Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Åke Vase showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Bock, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Magnus Wallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olle Åberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reftele. After a defensive mix-up in Reftele's zone, Gottfrid Rydberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Åke Vase came out of the goal and Gottfrid Rydberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Reftele walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
