After 40 played minutes Åre FK got a freekick which was hit by Johan Fridlund. 41 minutes into the game, Richard Söderqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nittorp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åre FK the free kick. Carl Kollberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åre FK.
