Emanuel Vikström kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Krister Vibjörnsson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Brålanda's Wiktor Ryberg got a free kick in the 17th minute. Carl Britz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nils-Åke Sandberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krister Vibjörnsson's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Hans Ingvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Billvall hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Mårdaklev's Einar Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Knutsson in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Alf Frykberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29thth minute of the game Urban Martinsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mårdaklev's Einar Björnberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Brålanda's Nils-Åke Sandberg got control of the ball when Fabian Billvall tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute Emanuel Vikström suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Brålanda's Egil Joensson got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. Mårdaklev's Bengt-Arne Hääger got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Carl Britz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nils-Åke Sandberg, passed just outside the right post. In the 47th minute of the match, Carl Britz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nils-Åke Sandberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carl Britz to make the kick off. If Carl Britz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Urban Martinsson came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Brålanda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urban Martinsson couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Brålanda's Oskar Knutsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Einar Björnberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oskar Knutsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Mårdaklev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Britz to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes Mårdaklev got a freekick which was hit by Krister Vibjörnsson. Krister Vibjörnsson struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Nils-Åke Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mårdaklev. After a defensive mix-up in Brålanda's zone, Carl Britz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Åke Sandberg came out of the goal and Carl Britz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Carl Britz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mårdaklev's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Britz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Åke Sandberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Mårdaklev's Carl Britz fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Nils-Åke Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Britz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Brålanda's Urban Martinsson got a free kick in the 81st minute. Carl Britz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nils-Åke Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Mårdaklev's Tom Björk tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Carl Britz struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Nils-Åke Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mårdaklev. Carl Britz charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Britz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mårdaklev were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Brålanda to leave the ground with a draw.
